This workshop is designed to provide participants with an understanding of how to create a more equitable and inclusive workplace through the lens of trauma-informed practices. The training defines key terms related to trauma informed practices, explores the relationship between REIB and trauma-informed practices, and provides participants with an understanding about the impact of trauma on individuals and communities. Session 3 - Employee Experience reinforces learning related to Trauma, Complex Trauma, and Toxic Stress. Session 3 will also provide participants with tools for working with clients experiencing trauma, specifically individuals displaying trauma response behaviors. The session will conclude with instruction related to Compassion Fatigue and will provide participants with the tools necessary to recognize and respond to Compassion Fatigue.
