This workshop is designed to provide participants with an understanding of how to create a more equitable and inclusive workplace through the lens of trauma-informed practices. The training defines key terms related to trauma informed practices, explores the relationship between REIB and trauma-informed practices, and provides participants with an understanding about the impact of trauma on individuals and communities. Session 2- Participant Experience provides a comprehensive overview of Trauma-Informed Practices, including terminology and principles related to Trauma and complex Trauma, Mental Health, Toxic Stress, Chronic Trauma, Trauma Responses, and how each of these affect us as individuals. Session 2 will also provide tools to address internal and external trauma known as the Practices of Trauma-Informed Practices.
