This workshop is designed to provide participants with an understanding of how to create a more equitable and inclusive workplace through the lens of trauma-informed practices. The training defines key terms related to trauma informed practices, explores the relationship between REIB and trauma-informed practices, and provides participants with an understanding about the impact of trauma on individuals and communities. Session 1- Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) provides a comprehensive overview of ACEs including the origination of ACEs and the initial ACEs study, the Original 10 ACEs, Beyond the 10 ACEs, Epigenetics, and ACEs statistics.
